but perhaps the best option would be to volunteer somewhere that interests you. That way, you’ll know that you’re meeting someone who shares at least one of your interests. There’s all kinds of places you can volunteer, even if you live out in the country. Church/synagogue/temple activities can be a good place to meet people. Join a gym or a take up something like tang soo do or another martial art. Take continuing education (credit or non-credit) courses at your local community college.
