black people who follow comic books

    any black people who grew up reading comic books, and still follow it as a hobby? any aging fanboys out there who still get a kick out of visiting comic stores weekly? did you get ridiculed for reading comics after a certain age, or if some of your peers didn’t look at it as an ‘urban’ thing? what’s your take on black superheroes– did you try to seek out black hero comics whenever possible? were you disappointed at the relative lack of them? did you really like it when a black hero had his own book or started to become popular (black panther, Storm, Spawn).. do you follow black independent comics? any that you recommend?
