black people who follow comic books

    any black people who grew up reading comic books, and still follow it as a hobby? any aging fanboys out there who still get a kick out of visiting comic stores weekly? did you get ridiculed for reading comics after a certain age, or if some of your peers didn't look at it as an 'urban' thing? what's your take on black superheroes-- did you try to seek out black hero comics whenever possible? were you disappointed at the relative lack of them? did you really like it when a black hero had his own book or started to become popular (black panther, Storm, Spawn).. do you follow black independent comics? any that you recommend?
