There was a story recently about a woman in England that had 27 dogs. There have been other stories about individuals with trememdous amounts of cats, dogs, etc who undergo court action because its evident they cannot care for them all and cause strong problems for neighbors and communities. I have four animals of my own, but I realize that I can only adequately care for those and no more. What possesses people to have so many pets. It strikes me as obsessive.
