I guess I don’t really have a direct question, so I am not expecting a direct or correct answer, but I am wondering about other peoples’ thoughts about diversity and prejudice, and the existence of it. Honestly, why do people hate, and hate to such an extreme? Diversity should be an expression of your individuality and your uniqueness, but instead because someone is different from you we automatically think that they are wrong for being who they are. Prejudice exists everywhere and as much as I despise saying it, I know it will never go away. Yet, I wonder how can the billions of people in this world become informed and motivated at the same time, to end it, or at least try to diminish it? Such a massive movement would probably be impossible, so I suppose that’s my answer in why prejudice will never end. I mean are people in this world at least trying to make a difference and accept differences amongst other people? I know it is not on everyone’s daily ‘to-do list’ but think about the amazing changes that could be made to better this world and our future if we all could make at least a slight difference toward accepting diversity each and everyday. It would be quite the ultimate utopia, if it could only happen. Just what could possibly be a solution to such a substantial problem in this world?
