DiamondParticipantI started dancing when I was 19 (I’m 21 now) for the money. My boyfriend’s sister-in-law, who was around my age, inspired me to try it. She always had money to buy anything she wanted or go anywhere she wanted. I wanted this financial freedom as well. I was raised in a good family and have no body or sex issues. I have a savings plan to cover the costs of University in September to study forensic science. The first night I only made $150. But once I got used to strangers admiring my body I started making grands. My boyfriend drives me to the clubs and watches to make sure I’m safe. I don’t allow touching, so he doesn’t mind too much. Growing up, I was never taught that the body is something to be ashamed of. I believe I was blessed with a nice shape and pretty face for a reason. I might as well profit from it as much as I can while I’ve still got it. Try renting the movie ‘The Player’s Club’; the girl pretty much sums it up when she says: ‘Use what you got to get what you want.’

DougParticipantI go about twice a year to the all-naked bar because I like to watch the naked women (or just topless women) walk around the bar in their birthday suits.

JoelParticipantI have dated or been involved with more than 150 strippers from New York, Atlanta and Miami over the past 24 years. Of them, 75 percent are on dope, 50 percent are into prostitution and dope, and 10 percent are still my friends and have graduated college and gone on to bigger and better things. Most have been sexually or mentally abused, and it doesn’t matter what type of family they come from. Many have Narcissitic Personality Disorder. Also, dancers are into that bisexual thing so closely related to NPD. And most are immature, little girls looking for daddy.

M-PowellParticipantI have to agree with the response already posted. As long as there are ignorant, sexually deprived losers, there will be strippers to take advantage of them.

KianaMemberI have danced on and off for 11 years – every dancer has her own story, some boring, some tragic, but easy money is a central theme. There are few jobs available to anyone where you can work less and make more, and it is in cash on the spot. I used to sell phones and cosmetics – dancing is a sales job, the product is yourself, and you work on 100% commission. Some girls approach it in a more businesslike way, some are not very disciplined, but money is the main thing. Some have other good alternatives, others don’t. I used to dance to eat, I don’t need to now, but it is still a nice way to make significant extra $$$ any time you want. The self-esteem thing is the major downside – you get so focused on your look, and paranoid that you look fat, bad, whatever.
