Is there any reason why more Chinese women smell “down there” than other Asian women? Japanese women, for example, don’t seem to have this problem.

Scent of women is based on several factors including genetics, diet, hygene, etc. I’ve noticed diet as the major factor in scents (and tastes). People who eat spicy or meaty foods may have a stronger scent or taste than vegetarians or eaters of bland diets. Also, I have heard Asian people in general have less sweat glands so you may be noticing a slight difference between Asian races that appears to make Chinese women have a stronger scent because of more sweat glands. My partner and I have noticed that our diet affects the taste or our genital secretions during oral sex. If I have a lot of garlic, it comes out in my vaginal secretions – not so much as a garlicky taste, but a distinct taste nonetheless. My partner, on the other hand, definitely tastes sweeter or more bitter when I swallow depending on what he has been eating/drinking. Let’s just say that if you want your partner to swallow, alcohol – especially beer in my experience – makes it really yucky tasting! (perhaps go for lots of fruit??) So, maybe what you are noticing is more of a dietary difference rather than an ethnic difference.

Maybe it’s common for Japanese ladies to wash ‘down there’ more frequently.

I am going to take a loose guess that in my lifetime I have been with …40-50 women (not intercourse with all of them, but at least oral) and out of those I know I have been with 6 different chinese women, and each one of them I noticed a very unpleasant smell down there…whereas every single other women I had been with there was never a problem. The odd thing was I figured it might be because of what they ate, or maybe how they grew up (hygine, etc) ..but 2 out of the 6 were born here, and were as americanized as I was (even with eating). I even had a pretty long realationship with 1. Its a complete mystery to me, but I don’t believe it is anything they would eat.
