At a club there were two men dancing and they kissed and a group of people in the club called them really bad names and told them to leave in front of everyone. No one defended them. The couple seemed so happy and then so devastated. Why is is okay for straight couples to kiss and dance but not gay couples?

In gay disctricts of larger cities, esp. NYC and San Francisco, it would be acceptable. Most straight people, esp men are repelled by the sight of 2 men kissing. So, don’t look! Remember the outcry when the movie BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN came out? Just Curious
