Back in 2000, Californians voted on Proposition 22, which said that only a marriage between a man and a woman were legal. I have to assume that all the people who voted ‘No’ were heterosexual. (Please correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s a logical assumption) Somehow, gay marriage has threatened them enough for them to get off their lazy butts to the voting booth, yet it has no direct affect on them, but denies other human beings the right to legally commit their lives to one another. So my question is this: Why did heterosexual people care so much about a proposition that did not even directly affect them? -a heterosexual who voted YES on Prop 22
