While attending a camp this summer for minority students, a group of us started talking about race relations and sexuality, and someone brought up the subject of masturbation among females. The same response that we (the guys) got when we asked about masturbation habits was that ‘only white girls do it.’ Is it true that white girls have a habit of masturbating more than girls of other races? The other subject that we touched upon was sexual promiscuity, and the group consensus was the more often that not, white girls ‘put it out there,’ meaning that are excessively ‘horny’ and want sex and sexual gratification more so than black or latino girls. Is that true, that white girls crave sex more than black/latino, and therefore dress and act promiscously purposely in order to satisfy their urges?
