Vincent24845MemberSince ninth grade, I’ve believed girls and women lie when they say they want a relationship with a ‘good man.’ I consider myself a good person, but often find myself on the wrong end of rejection. Just what do women want? (And no b.s. please!)

Becky23307MemberWomen really want to be excited, inticed, thrilled. We want to get a little shiver of excitement up our spine every time we see you. With most ‘nice guys’, we don’t get this. A lot of women tend to associate ‘good guys’ with ‘boring guys’. A good guy may be what you want your future husband to be, but not the guy you want to date. That’s why so many women date losers when they are young and as they get older, they tend to get a different idea of what is exciting.

Deana25764MemberLet me tell you how it is. I am a woman, and I admit that I have often fallen for the ‘bad boy’ But it was the nice guy I have been looking for all along. When a woman is ready to settle down for real, she will pick the nice guy as long as she has any brains. I know that it sucks to be the nice guy and not get the girl, because I have always been the ‘nice girl’ and never gotten anywhere with it either. The real deal is that if you are looking for love, DON’T!!! You cant go looking for it. When you look, you get hurt. You have to let it find you. When I finally gave up looking, it found me. And it did not take long at all. I have never been happier in my life than I am now – and have been for the past year. I am surprised that no on ehas resonded to you yet. But good luck, and keep on being the nice guy!!

J. FrenchMemberI get a little impatient with men who whine about what a great catch they are and why can’t they find a good woman. They hardly ever give enough information about their situation to get a good response. Are you employed, a hunchback, or in jail? That could be a factor. How do you define ‘good woman’, and what do you want her for? Or they’re doing it to get encouragement, or even dates. The responses you do get are even more sickening: ‘Hang in there, little soldier! Join a club and Miss Right will find her way to you soon!’ Well, here’s a different kind of answer: you’re not as nice as you think you are. No one likes to think of themselves as mean, petty, shallow, or anything negative at all, so obviously if we can’t find dates it’s everyone else’s fault. And while sorting out for yourself exactly what you want in a relationship can give you a lot of attractive confidence, if your expectations read something like: ‘I want my wife to the perfect woman for me! Smart and deep, yet beautiful, too! And when we meet, it will be just like magic! She’ll know, and I’ll know, just like love at first sight, but better,’ you might want to lower your standards just a tich. In the meantime, check out a website called http://www.heartlessbitches.com. They have a lot more to say about ‘nice guys’ and where they’re going wrong than I could fit in my answer.
