Just came back with my family from eating out at a local franchise. The waiter was so over the top in trying to be gay. Every tired old nuance was just too much. The lisp, the broken wrist, hands on hip, the sorry ass sayings. It was almost like someone with a mental shortcoming was trying to pull off how it looks to be gay! Every customer within eyeshot were staring, some laughing outload. After three tables got up and left the establishment, I took the owner aside and asked what he thought he was doing, turning the place into diner theatre? He said he was afraid of a discrimination suit. Isnt there some way of interpetating the existing hiring practices to keep something like this from happening?
