I am a sales professional in my mid-40s who is having difficulty finding work. Many of the sales positions are entry level, and many companies want people to travel extensively (I have a family and travelled for years at a past job, and it nearly ruined my marriage). Despite the fact that I have a very successful sales/training and management backround, am I seen as too old? Are 'seasoned' salespeople seen as too expensive to hire?
