Why is it that when white people talk about social problems with black people, so many blacks immediately assume the white person is talking about them? I recently discussed with two black men a problem at my son's elementary school. About one third of the children do not get help with their homework from their parents. The two black men assumed I was talking about black people not helping their children. I wasn't.
