It has been alleged that there is a genetic component to sexual orientation. If this is so, why aren’t the genes for homosexuality being lost to the gene pool in light of the fact that very few homosexuals reproduce. If such a loss does indeed occur, then homosexuality would decline in frequency. Indeed it would seem that it would be a rare condition today.
