Along with the swastika, the Iron Cross was a symbol used by the nazis in World War 2, and since then has been associated with racist white supremacy groups. But now Everyday I see some one wearing one on their clothes, jewelry, in their car windows or on a bumpersticker, and i’ve even seen the symbol on a CD booklet at Best Buy, and even more shockingly childrens toy cars and motorcycles. So, does all this mean that the Iron Cross is no longer a racist symbol? If its no longer a racist symbol, what does it currently represent? Also, i have never seen a non-white person display this symbol.
