My comments: Finns are usually blonde with blue eyes. They have very fair skin, drink a lot of vodka and always carry knives.

In my experience,people don’t have ‘general characteristics’.Why do you ask this question? Do you habitually streotype people? The typical German,Brit whatever? Why not take people as they are,instead of what you exprect them to be?

Finnish people are quite shy and hard to approach. I lived in the United States for some years and learned to be more open and friendly. Coming back home was a shock because I was considered weird being so open. People from the capital, Helsinki, are the worst kind. They won’t speak to you, are arrogant, etc.. You have to get to know Finnish people bit by bit to gain their trust.
