MikeParticipantFirst. let me say how much i enjoy this frank, to-the-point forum. My wife and I have been naturalist a long time, having met at a nudist retreat. We are now in our late 30’s with two teen-aged sons, ages 12 and 15. Every year since our marriage, we have taken a one week vacation at a nudist resort. Our sons have always gone with us and have never complained one bit, always looking forward to this trip. This year, however, our 12 year-old is not wanting to join us. He has not stated why, other than ‘I just don’t want to go this year.’ For the past few months, he has even left a long t-shirt on while at the nude beach and has kept his groin region covered and out of sight. We pretty much know that he is concerned because he is entering puberty. I have explained to him that he need not worry, all boys go through this stage and no one at the resort will even bat an eye at his development. His brother had no problems with this when he was entering puberty. Still, he refuses to go. Should we make him go, or let him stay with a friend the week we are gone?
