When I am at a 'normal' state, I find gay sex very disgusting. But when I am turned on and see gay sex, I seem to like it. I am definitely straight, but does this make me bi?

its more complex than that. when it comes to sexuality its not all black and white. kinsey talks about a sexuality scale: 0 is pure hetero, 6 is pure homo, and hardly anyone is a 0 or 6. we all have homosexual (or heterosexual for that matter) tendencies. i think its completely normal.

Honestly, its normal to have feelings from time to time for the same sex, but it may be because you view anything sexual while aroused as desirable. You might even discover later on that you have an attraction towards the male sex or find out later you dont have those 'feelings' anymore. Relax, it's a normal part of growing up. One of the things about life is discovering yourself. The only true indicator of your sexuality is time and your honest feelings about the male body.

I think we are wired to become stimulated when viewing sexual activity. I do not think it matters whather it is gay or straight. I think it is the act that is the turn-on. I would not assume to be bisexual because viewing sex is a turn-on.

Straight and gay and bi are inaccurate labels to describe the huge range of sexual reactions humans have, even in their own lifetime. We are not simply one thing at all times, for our entire lives. As you surmised, context (the when and where) are huge factors. After all, sex is sex, so when you are 'turned on,' your brain is thinking SEX without the social clutter and filters that tell you certain types are wrong. Since you have noticed this difference between your aroused and normal states, you should try to figure out the source of these 'filters' that tell you that at normal times this is disgusting when your own body tells you otherwise. Try to remove some of this social programming and you will expand your humanity.

It doesn't make you bi, it makes you a horny 17-year-old guy, that's all. If you were to try and do it you'd probably go limp in no time flat.

If you're really worried about it, try it and see if you like it.

I don't think this makes you gay, this makes you a man. Contrary to popular belief, being gay is far less about what you do sexually than it is about who you are. If men don't turn you on when you're unaroused, it's unlikely that they will turn you on when you are aroused. Men in general are very visual creatures, which is why porn is targeted to men and is a multi-billion dollar industry. Often we are turned on by the idea of something rather than the thing itself. Perhaps you are turned on by the taboo element of gay sex; the idea that you're seeing something that's considered somewhat on the fringe of sexuality, something that you describe as 'disgusting' in your non-aroused state. The lines between what's erotic in fantasy and what's erotic in real life can be blurred. If you're worried that you may be gay or bi, then try to imagine yourself in a long-term committed relationship with someone of your same gender versus someone of the opposite sex. Which, if either, seems more appealing?

I think many things can turn a person on without chaning their sexual orientation. I am lesbian but am aroused when I think about straight sex. I think the boundaries of what turns us on can be limitless.

Well, think about it this way. It's the same parts. Penis going into a hole, penis going into a mouth. If you're actually imagining while watching, a guy performing this on you or you performing it, then you might be bi. If mentally you're picturing straight sex, then it's just the parts.

Well, watching straight sex is a turn on for me sometimes but I'm definitely gay. I think sexuality in general is stimulating and exciting so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I am a straight 27yr old male. I may be wrong but, perhaps you were touched by an elder male as a child and your brain reacts to this on a subconscious level. It may be that deep down somewhere you are bi but are doing yourself to consciously supress it. As any red-blooded american male I love sex and porn. However, never once have I been aroused by gay sex, in fact, the utter thought would be an immediate grounds of dismissal for any current sexuality going on. The thought of two guys having sex is disgusting. Now, don't get me wrong. I am not homophoebic or a gay basher, I have friends that are gay. But if you're straight you're straight, if you're getting turned on by gay sex then deep down there's more to it than just a simple 'state of arousal' as these morons are stating.

Well I've discussed this recently with my lesbian neighbors and was shocked to learn they both enjoyed watching gay sex. Not because they liked the anatomy involved but because the people seemed so much more into the 'parts' they were playing. Basically two people who found male anatomy 'unappetizing' got into it because the characters in the porn seemed to enjoy themselves instead of faking it. Could that be what's happening to you?

I've seen plenty of str8 porn but never gay porn. The thought of gay sex does nothing for me, and I've never done it, but I like to look at nude men and of course women. But when I say this I'm not talking about your ordinary man. I'm talking about a man who would be very masculine looking with hairy chest, muscles, chiseled face, sort of male model looking. I get aroused looking at a nude man like this, but not in a sense that I want him sexually, but that I'd like to look like him and exude that sexuality. I get excited looking at nude men and women, but if they're you're every ordinary nude people you'd see on a nudist website, it does nothing for me.
