Movies have ratings, records have labels and clubs have age requirements, yet a lot of parents encourage their children to ignore these guidelines and participate in things that are not deemed age-appropriate. For example, a number of parents would encourage their children to watch the Jerry Springer show to encourage dialogue. What is the logic in going against what 'experts' have set up in our society? Are there any areas where we should never cross the lines already set up?
