Why do (what seems to me many,)gay men affect a lisping drawl? Do only English-speaking gay men have this speech habit, or is it a multilingual phenomenon? And why don’t gay women seem to have some similar distinguishing speech characteristic? Or do they, and I haven’t noticed it?
