Hmm. I'm not sure why you have that perception. I'm white, and I certainly smell brutal if I haven't used deodorant or if I haven't showered. But as long as I'm clean, I don't think I smell much. I'm not sure the 'raw' smell you noticed is a racial trait. Are the white people you run into mostly working outside, involved in athletics, etc.?

Ah I really dont see what you are talking about, I have alot of white friends and they dont smell any different than a black person. And i really dont think its the white people in just your state. So maybe you are talking about when white people get wet sometime when white people get wet they smell different they smell like dogs i really dont beleave that considering the fact that im around them all the time. Same reason why blacks are so loud in public and break out in some ghetto dance for no reason and with no music while waiting in line at an amusement park (thats if they dont cut in front of you)Same reason why they can speak english and dont wash their hair and everything is racial to them. I dont know what whites you are around but the majority around here take regular baths/showers,etc. I thinnk it has much more to do with class than race. Some people of ANY race think nothing of going out smelling like sh*t to the movies, grocery store,work, whatever. me personally if I stink I wouldnt dare go somewhere except in an emergency.

I am not sure what is meant by raw-smelling but I have noticed that people of different races tend to smell different anyway. I especially notice it with african americans when they are hot. Sometimes there is a very pungent body odor or their breath is sour. I noticed this with children and adults. I think the smell has a lot to do with what people eat.

Now since you mention it, the more middle-upper class black men/women always do smell good. I guess white men just don't care as much, and black men are more 'all about women' and want to look and smell good for them. Black women in that class are just all together more 'cosmotology inclined'. Their hair and makeup and stuff always looks good.
