Is it true that Southern Baptists do not believe in interracial dating and/or marriage? If so, why do they believe this?

I don’t know about Southern Baptists, but I am a young Independent Baptist, and I am black/Puerto Rican and proud of it!!!! I DO believe that homosexuality is wrong, and I am not ashamed of my belief, but inter ‘racial’ dating and marriage is NOT wrong!!!!!! I do not believe in race… race is a evolutionary term made up by Darwin, and I don’t believe in evolution!!! But anyway, people do miscontrue the Bible and use verses to use back up their false claims when the verses are actually talking about marrying people who do not believe in the true God and are extremely wicked. Not all Baptists believe that MULTIETHNIC dating is wrong, and I am one of them!!!! By the way, Peter, there is a good church near Ypsilanti… check out Metro Baptist Church, and if you are ever near Gaylord, go to Grace Baptist. : )
