I’ve noticed that women of certain ethnicities have a tendency to ‘print’ the detailed outline of their outer labia and pubic region through their pants, jeans, etc. I became aware of this as a child when a black woman made a remark about a white woman who was printing deeply. She found it totally gross. A male Caucasian friend said it was called a “camel’s foot.” My other friends and I (who don’t print for some reason) are baffled. When our clothing has an ill fit, we put on something else. Is this printing due to the structure or tilt of the pelvis, or is clothing purchased with this intent in mind?

But it’s nothing to do with ethnic background, and all to do with the fact that the woman in question is 1) wearing her jeans so tight that it makes a print, and 2) she’s not wearing any panties at all, so again, her genitals show. It’s nothing to do with color, but honestly–it’s kind of trifling and many guys I know think it’s nasty.

We call them camel toes. I always have hoped that the women with camel toes don’t really realize it and assumed they are trying to still get into their favorite pair of jeans after they just put on some extra pounds.

I’ve never heard it called ‘printing,’ either, but anyway… I’m sure it has nothing to do with the pelvis. I think it just happens when a girl wears tight pants or swim bottoms with a short inseam. Thankfully, I never have that problem (I am annoyingly short-waisted), but I think it generally happens when wearing spandex pants and is primarily unintentional when a woman stands in a certain position (although perhaps some strange girls yank it up to accentuate this part of their body – who knows?) I think magazine photographers just might encourage the camel toe, however, judging from how much of it I’ve seen on supermodels and Britney Spears.
