I am a white, gay, professional 35-year-old male currently living in Philadelphia (Center City). My partner (a physician) and I wish to move to a modestly affluent suburb. I am feeling very vulnerable about leaving the city. How do 'straight' people feel when they realize their new neighbors are gay? Do people really care that much? It would help to know.
