I've noticed that, too. Since they spend millions of dollars on market research, advertising agencies and their clients must have a reason for believing that showing white folks using their products is the best way to get the rest of us to buy them. I'd bet, however, that if all us non-white folks boycotted their products unless we could see ourselves represented in their advertising, the phenomenon you describe would change real quick.

Blacks and hispanics have the luxury to have their own television channels, their own ethnic organizations and scholarship programs. This is a luxury that white people can't afford without being labeled 'racist' or 'clanish'. White people must endure this because 150 years ago some black person's great-great-great grand parents were slaves to a white man. So to be politically correct, it must continue. If there was National Assoc. for the Advancement of White People, there would be race riots in the streets. The same holds true if there were a United Caucasian Collage Fund. I truly wish there were racial equallity, then we could do away with the reverse discrimination in the United States.
