I´m almost 21 years old and I´ve always been a bit of a ‘good’ girl. In my teenage years I was never interested in drinking or smoking and rather concentrated on school. Now I feel completely out of place: I just got accepted to a university and it feels like all these people do is sit at bars and drink. I don´t feel I´m better than them, but I´m scared to approach my fellow students because of this. What could I possibly talk about with them? I study, go to church, don´t go to bars, like to have a cup of coffee with friends in the afternoon and spend friday nights at home with my boyfriend cooking and watching rented DVDs: I feel like a 30-year-old trapped in a 20-year-old´s body. I love my life the way it is but it seems like everybody encourages me to be more ‘wild’. Should I change? What do you think about this?
