I have noticed this odor coming from my brother’s room. It is like none other – a dank, putrid and alkaline-like smell. He is 16. Is it a hygiene problem?

Boys’ rooms always have an odor. The most dominant one is feet. That’s usually mixed with weed, stale beer, rotting food and post-masturbatory funk in various degrees. Sometime shortly after college, most boys discover Lysol, although I’m sure that point will be debated.

When boys go through puberty, they smell…especially their feet…it is a very akward stage for a boy…try not to tease, it won’t last forever…
