I’ve heard many people make remarks about Charlton Heston being a ‘nutcase’ and a ‘fascist’ for his ties to the NRA, but Muhammad Ali, who is widely considered a hero, joined the Nation of Islam, an organisation which believes black people are gods and white people are mutant ‘devils’ created 6000 years ago by a mad scientist named Yacub. Why is Heston so widely considered a crazed lunatic for his views, while Ali is considered a sane and honorable man for his views on ‘white devils’ and Yacub?
