After six weeks of dating someone I’d really grown to like, he just stopped calling and e-mailing. The last I heard from him was an e-mail saying he’d lost his job and was despondent, then nothing for two weeks. E-mails and phone calls have gone unreturned. It’s now four weeks, and I’d be stupid not to get the message, wouldn’t I? I can understand a man changing his mind, but is there a reason why men would refuse to offer any kind of explanation for this kind of action?
