TOM PETILLOParticipantWhat is it like to live in Hawaii? What professions are in high demand? How expensive is housing/cost of living? Is transportation a problem?User Detail :

GuyGuyersonMemberPrice of housing is all over the map, cost of living is a bit higher, great public transportation on Oahu. I knew very few people who came to Hawaii and made more. Also Hawaiians and Asians are going to get hiring preference and racism against whites and blacks is open in certain areas and situations. Great place to live but challenging, especially making a decent living and dealing with living on a small island.User Detail :
