In the city where I work, blacks will invariably cross the street not only against the light, but blatantly in the face of oncoming traffic. I have actually seen people stand on the sidewalk watching for cars to come, and then when one is relatively close, step out into the street! I realize that many people jaywalk when there are no cars approaching, but I never see people of any other race crossing in such a dangerous manner, causing drivers to have to slow down or miss a light. It’s rude, and I was just wondering what makes them think this is something they should just be able to get away with.
