Jessica N.ParticipantDo men who are impotent or not having erections experience sexual pleasure and fulfillment? Are sexual experiences satisfying or frustrating? I have always wanted to know this.User Detail :

John-B29413ParticipantGoing only from personal experience: Erection, sensitivity and orgasm are three different issues. Some morning erections are insensitive and yield little pleasure to me, though they can be fun for my partner. Sometimes a limp penis is exquisitely sensitive, in which case I can have all kinds of pleasure but can't have intercourse. And it's possible to be orgasmic when impotent (sometimes those are very intense) or anorgasmic while still very sensitive (in which case it's lots of fun but sooner or later somebody gets tired). If it's a current personal issue, I suggest conversation and the experimental method.User Detail :

Dan27184ParticipantI don't know about men who are impotent, but a non-sexually impaired man does not need to have an erection to have an orgasm. Erections are necessary for copulation and various forms of masturbation, but a man can be stimulated all the way to orgasm and ejaculation without ever achieving a full erection.User Detail :

Jeff H.ParticipantThis can be achieved by one's partner inserting his or her finger into one's arse! (anus) and stimulating one's prostrate gland. Believe me, it works.User Detail :

Jim C.ParticipantIt's very common to lose or maintain only a partial erection while being the receiver in anal intercourse and still have a powerful orgasm and ejaculation. I'm not sure why one sometimes does and sometimes doesn't maintain an erection, but I do know that rectal stimulation of the prostate is what makes the orgasm so intense. I don't know if this would be true for someone who can't maintain an erection at all for a medical reason.User Detail :
