When I was 11 my parents divorced and my mom got a girlfriend. I was always fine with this, it never really bothered me. And my best friend didn’t care either. When ppl at school found out though, I started hearing whispering and ppl would go quiet when I walked up. My best friend used to flip on ppl, but I never really cared. Should I be standing up for my mom and her partner? I love them both, but I don’t see it as my responsibility, although I still feel guilty about not saying anything. Is this wrong?
