I was recently having a discussion with a friend of mine and one of us brought up the fight for equality that Martin Luther King made and we alikened our(gay’s) fight for equality with tha arican americans. And some one barged in and said ‘how dare we liken our plight to african amerians’… is that right? surely as a minority should we not be sympathetic to others and being down trodden and looked down on should we not create some sort of brotherhod to stand up against the white midle class hetrosexual which predominatly contril the world? I knwo this doesnt make sence but i hope the general Idea got through..
