Why do gay people call people who don’t approve of their lifestyles ‘homophobes?’ I don’t think these people are actually afraid of homosexuals. So why do gay activists continue to use the term? If I don’t like spaghetti, that doesn’t make me a ‘pasta-phobe.’ So why does it apply to homosexuality? Is it that you take your personal identity from your lifestyle to such an extent that you can’t stand people disagreeing with it for reasons of logic or faith? I just don’t understand.
