Exactly where have you been looking? Because everywhere I look in Corporate America there is a still a very dominant white workforce. Also, what you may not realize is that today there is a larger number of qualified, competent 'minorities' graduating from college than ever before. Hence, you would expect that in a country such as ours who pride ourselves on making great strides in overcoming our racist past, that more of these qualified, competent individuals will start to be hired into Corporate America. Question for you: Why do so many white males feel that they are entitled to all and as soon as they see someone else getting a taste of their privelege, it's all of a sudden unfair??

Let's be honest here, NO american corporation hires a disproportionate amount of minorities over white males. It's a myth and a scam. What american corporations do, is hire a a handful of minority figure heads that they can trot out for the public to insure they aren't targeted by special interest groups for boycott, lawsuits or bad publicity. The (vast) majority of powerful jobs in corporate america is still held by white men. Represented was the key word in your query. Corporate Americas loves to have a minority's face out in public representing them, but on the inside, it's still white. If you aren't getting hired, Maybe your resume just isn't up to snuff.

And don't fool yourselves into thinking that 'less qualified' minorities are being hired...on the contrary, there are many highly educated, bright ambitious AA's entering Corporate America. Face it, what's REALLY scaring you White folks is that these bright, educated, savvy African American people can compete with you. That's your real issue. And more are on the way.
