I am wondering why so many of the major religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism) are anti-GLBT (as I have come to find in ‘my world’). I don’t want to hear ‘because that’s God’s law;’ I want to hear an answer from a sociologist/comparative religion/anthorpologist’s point of view; i.e., is there a logical or historical reason why the taboo was incorporated into the dogmas of these religions?
