DavidBParticipantAre women as interested in sex/fantasizing as men are? Or is just that women are not as open about it because of social rules?User Detail :

AbbyDParticipantWell, look at the types of erotica that are directed at the different sexes. Porn tapes, with minimal plot and lots of visual stimulation, tend to be directed at men. Romance novels, with more complex situational and character development tend to be directed at women. In a normal situation, I probably fantasize about sex once a day or less. But when I do, it's usually a drawn out fantasy, more like a daydream involving lots of romance with Mr. Faceless, or what could realistically happen in a sexual encounter with someone I know. The image of two random strangers humping each other does absolutely nothing for me. So to answer your question, yes, I and most females I know love to fantasize about sex... but only if there is some romance involved.User Detail :

ShirleyAveryParticipantI can't speak for every woman, but I believe many women have more of a romantic component to their sexual fantasies. Not just "the main event". I enjoy sex and fantasize. Have you noticed that in movies, women characters who really enjoy sex seem to die or get punished for their urges? Just CuriousUser Detail :
