Why do so many people in the US feel the need to tell others how good and decent they are, how to live the good and right life, etc. Europeans are much less hypocritical and dishonest in that way; so are most Asians. They have a more practical view of life, in terms of marriage and relationships, etc. Whereas here in the US, there are a lot of so-called “religious” folk who go round moralizing, crusading and telling others how to live, but do not themselves practice a pious, spartan lifestyle. In fact, quite often, they flaunt their high-living lifestyle. Nothing wrong with that, but my disgust is why go around pretending otherwise, preaching and being so hypocritical?
