LighthouseParticipantHas anyone ever dated someone from India? I have as well as some friends of mine. We all came up with the same conclusions. Why do they seem to be a little inexperienced in relationships? For example; when an Indian guy is interested in a female he will smile bashfully a lot and tell the girl he ‘likes’ her, like school-aged children. Then they seem to be temperamental and very teritorial. Just because you ‘like’ somebody doesn’t mean the person should get jealous over the person of their affection talking to someone else. I’m not saying they all do that, but the ones I have encountered are like that. And they invented Kama Sutra, but the men we had sex with weren’t that experienced in bed. What gives? Also, the men are all workaholics! When do they have time with their families?

ChrisMemberI assume you’re talking about Indians straight from India here… I think Indians tend to be quite pious about relationships. As I heard someone say in Morgan Spurlocks ’30 Days’, India in the 21st century is like 1940s America where marraige and family are concerned. When it comes to them being childish and teritorial – I think those ridiculous moves are partly to blame. Indians working hard is a stereotype I’m actually quite proud of. Usually the guy sees his role in the family unit as ‘provider’ first and foremost. Finally, I think you answered the last part yourself: Experience makes you good in bed, not having cultural ties to the Kama Sutra! Come on!

KevinMemberHi…hahhah. What can i say. Its a very cultural thing. I am pretty sure the guy must be an Indian immigrant or student. Most of us have been taught by our parents that hard work and studies will bring prosperity which in due course will lead to getting a good girl as a wife. So the guy is very possessive of his girl, not jealous. Also as an Indian unfortunately we feel very inferior to white guys aka Brad Pitt like hotties or black brothers like P Diddy types.Cme on the only Indian popular on television is ‘Appu’ on Simpsons. No wonder we are always shy. All i can tell you American chicks is give us a chance and you might be surprised…..Kev P.S- By the way Indian men LOVEEEEE white women..
