I have a Hindu cousin who married a Muslim girl. Neither my cousin nor his wife converted to their spouse’s religion after their marriage. The girl’s brothers also married Hindu girls, but they required that those girls convert to Islam. Does Islam require girls to convert if their husbands are non-Muslims? Bigger question: what is Islam’s viewpoint on conversion?
