Many of my friends are Christians, one of whom told me recently that she doesn’t believe in couples living together before marriage. To me, it seems more reasonable to live with the person before marrying them, if there is serious potential for marriage. It’s like taking a car out for a test drive before buying it (but more serious, of course). So, why do some people, (specifically Christians) think that cohabitation before marriage is bad?
