CuriousMemberWhy is minority recruitment for HIV vaccine trials always so difficult? I remember the horrible Tuskeegee experiment, but that was decades ago. Still, perhaps this remains part of the background problem? Or is it difficulty with governmental paternalism? Or, is the conspiracy theory of HIV’s governmental manufacture really that strong? Or a combination of issues? How can confidence be strengthened?

AnubisParticipantI believe AIDS was created to wipe out Africans, in particular, and their descendants living in the United States and throughout the world.

I. CadeMemberThe black community is in denial about HIV. Many people do not even know they have it. All of the issues you raised are also factors.
