MaraParticipantI go barefoot almost everywhere that isn't a "public area" ('public' being grocery/stores, movies, cafes, work, etc) and nobody has ever said anything to me. Depending on where you're at, even some public places accept nekkid feet without comment...like the convenience stores around the lake, outdoor eateries, etc. I suggest that as a rule of thumb - for politness sake, if you (or any average guy) wouldn't go there without a shirt, don't go there without shoes.User Detail :
