Many people assert that this issue has been beaten to death and some(mostly black men and white women) insist that it is a non-issue. But they are wrong. As black men increasingly choose women from other races with which to start relationships and families, there is an ever-widening gap in the lives of black women. We have not typically been considered as the most desirable females in America and more and more of us are finding ourselves childless and single as we grow into our thirties and forties. If black men don’t choose us as mates……who will?
