As a bisexual, I’ve encountered a lot of overt anti-bi sentiment among gays/lesbians, which has always bothered me coming from people whose mantra of ‘fighting for one’s love rights’ has become a way of life. I’ve never felt alienated or put-off in ‘hetero-centric’ contexts, since heterosexuality is just another form of sexual expression and as viable as any other in my book. How can gays and lesbians defend their own prejudice against other sexual minorities while ostensibly fighting for sexual freedom?
