The fact that OJ was found ‘not guilty’ had nothing to do with his race; the man has money and is famous; plain and simple. Frankly, as a black man I was disgusted to see my fellow blacks celebrating outside of the courtroom and at Oprah’s live broadcast. (Did you see Oprah’s face? She looked like she was going to piss herself in anger.) CLEARLY the man is guilty as sin. And if you think otherwise, quite honestly, you’re a moron. And as for the ‘it’s about time a black man not be sent to jail’ theory; yes, because that TOTALLY justifies killing two innocent people (and the fact that the victims were white made no difference in the severity of the crime; people are people). To say ‘well, THEY did THIS, so it’s about time a black man do the same’ is just ignorant and makes you look like the fool you are. Yes, some whites have opressed blacks for centuries, and continue to, but that’s not all whites (just as all blacks weren’t happy about the verdict). The man is a murderer, and no amount of pretentious black rhetoric will change that.
