[Bruce Kinley]

In my college-level US history class, my professor stated that Kinsey supported child molestation for the sake of science. She also asserted that his research is the reason for the rise in STDs. I pointed out that he only interviewed men that had molested children. Kinsey reported what he heard to show that it actually happens – honesty. From what I read in his book and a biography, he was rather repulsed by these men but remained impartial to understand why they did what they did. I wonder why people label a bisexual or gay person as a child molestor; or does it have more to do with Kinsey exposing truth that people don’t want to face?

it sounds like the proffesor is having problems with staying objective. she is probably trying to implant the kind of “values” she has into her students. if the class is in college, i think its a little to late to implant values into the students.
