In today’s world we search for equality. We all want to be treated equally and judged on our merits. Blacks and Hispanics are always crying fowl. My question is: If you are an American Citizen or want to be part of the American culture, WHY? Is it so important to continue to separate yourselfs and drive a wedge by always qualifying yourself as: ‘ I am an Afro-American, I am a Hispanic-American. Why must you continue to do that? Why can you not just be proud to be an American and make a difference? I am from Swedish/Norweign decent. I do not try to separate or set myself aside by saying I am a Swedish/Norweign American. I hear it day in and day out. Either you are an American no matter what color your skin is or you are not. You pick!!! Thank you
